Meet Dr. Williams

Dr. Wm Truman Williams is a board-certified cardiologist, active-duty Air Force physician, and founder of Bluewater Cardiology. With advanced training in cardiovascular imaging, cardiac CT, preventive cardiology, and cardiometabolic health, his clinical focus includes coronary CT angiography (CCTA), cardiovascular risk reduction, metabolic disease, cholesterol management, and evidence-based weight management.

Drawing from both his military and cardiovascular prevention experience, Dr. Williams has led the development of cardiometabolic prevention models rooted in contemporary American College of Cardiology (ACC) guideline-directed care, with a particular emphasis on supporting the long-term health, readiness, and performance of active duty military populations. His patient-centered philosophy has delivered strong results through personalized cardiovascular and metabolic care tailored to high-performance populations.

As both a cardiologist and military physician, Dr. Williams believes strongly in proactive, personalized care designed to improve long-term health outcomes, metabolic wellness, and overall quality of life through sustainable, evidence-based strategies.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Williams values faith, family, fitness, and the coastal lifestyle of Northwest Florida, which continue to shape his patient-centered approach to long-term health and wellness

Our Approach

Bluewater Cardiology was founded with a simple belief: cardiovascular care should be proactive, personalized, and focused on long-term health—not just treating disease after it occurs.
